Taken during a short break in a storm, this image captures the volatile weather of the lake district hills. The slightly illumiated path creates a leading line throught the imageleading towards a hilltop shrouded in darkness and filled with low-hanging clouds. The dim light of the setting sun reflects off of the lake, creating a shallow layer of light across the surface of the water. The otherwise desolate landscape is filled with an eerie stillness, hinting at the power of the impending storm.
Resident Photographer - Giles Schofield has an eye for spotting special moments. Having photographed dramatic scenery, Five Six Studio is offering a limited edition selection of his natural light photographs - from rural Scotland to central Paris.
Available in editions of /100. The high quality large format prints are printed on inkjet lustre paper. This luxury heavyweight photo paper has a classic pearl / lustre surface and a state of the art microporous coating to ensure razor sharp images with full vibrant colours. The photograph is rolled in Tyvek; which is conservation grade protection and will arrive in a tube / envelope depending on the size. Frame not included.
A certificate of authenticity will be provided with the photograph.

When selecting where to hang the new artwork, consider sunlight, temperature and moisture. Pigments such as acrylics will fade over time if kept in direct sunlight. If hung in rooms with open fires or close to radiators, please be conscious that strong sources of heat can cause warping or discolouration to some mediums.
Do not lean anything against the surface or lean the artwork; make sure the artwork remains upright or flat - to avoid bowing.
Dust the artwork with a clean white, soft cloth or brush occasionally to prevent dust buildup. Don't use cleaning products or water (unless framed behind glass).
