The VI painting pair was designed show the possibility to orientate life. There is a striking sharpness between the natural texture and a bright white background. The canvases are sat in bespoke floating wooden frames.

The Juxtaposition Series was created after a turbulent experience of grief. The canvases express an intoxicating mix of heartbreak and liberation. The boundary between balance and chaos. The five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance have all been conveyed through sensory disruption. Allowing the paintbrush guide her through grief; to growth. These pieces may look simple in execution, but they are rich in meaning and emotion.

This series focuses primarily on the surface of the canvas and the aesthetic quality of materials used in the paintings. The minimalist paintings highlight contrasting and complimenting elements by using natural colour pairings. Intended to neutralise a space, the work introduces dimension and geometric lines into the room.

A certificate of authenticity will be provided with the artwork.

  • When selecting where to hang the new artwork, consider sunlight, temperature and moisture. Pigments such as acrylics will fade over time if kept in direct sunlight. If hung in rooms with open fires or close to radiators, please be conscious that strong sources of heat can cause warping or discolouration to some mediums.

    Do not lean anything against the surface or lean the artwork; make sure the artwork remains upright or flat - to avoid bowing.

    Dust the artwork with a clean white, soft cloth or brush occasionally to prevent dust buildup. Don't use cleaning products or water (unless framed behind glass).
